Think of where could blogs be possibly useful in the intelligence setting?
Blogs can be an essential tool in the field of military intelligence for a various amount of reasons. since you can share blogs with multiple people around the world, and those people can edit the blog as well, each of you can contribute some information into the blog. This will make the blog not only a great way for communication, but a great place for the meeting of "minds". In written form, and when not using blogs, many groups have difficulty bringing their own parts of a specific mission together. There are often a ton of papers and new ideas brought about because of a project and blogging makes that so much easier! The people involved don't even have to meet each other in person when using blogs, since blogs are over the world wide web, people can have an effect on the final product even when they could be about a thousand miles away from each other, as long as they had the internet. In the intelligence, this is a godsend because this is the exact situation many military intelligence operatives are faced with every single day. Operatives that are deployed have to make contact with other operatives in other countries such as in Washington D.C., multiple posts in europe and other posts in the pacific. With blogging, the military can share information in a very simple, quick and efficient way in order to complete a mission with all of the the necessary tools, that others may be willing to provide. This is the wonder and extreme amount of help that blogging provides in our society today.

Bring in the Maggots: Maggot Therapy in the US
Did you know that there has been an increase in the use of maggot therapy in hospitals all over the United States? If you don't know what maggots are, here is a little background. Maggots are the larvae(babies) of the fly that are typically laid in deceased organisms that help to sooth the appetite of the maggots hunger for deceased flesh. So now you are wondering, what are we doing putting maggots inor on people? Aren't they completely just flesh hungry? The shocking answer is no, the maggots only eat dead flesh and leave thriving flesh alone, making them perfect for the usage of hospitals.
Scenario, a patient has a festering wound that will not heal over due to it's size, and loss of skin. As a result, the exposed tissue is beginning to decay which leaves the medical practitioners with no room to seal the wound due to the dead tissue. With no other option, the patient resorts to maggot therapy to remove the dead tissue and start anew. Two days later, the patient returns and the wound is revealed. Presto! The dead tissue is gone and there is healthy tissue to begin the process of recuperation.
So with this think again about turning your nose up at maggot therapy in disgust, it may actually save you.

The Magic of Culture.
What can you truly say to sum up how fascinating cultures are? The answer is nothing! People may com from far and near, but still share all of the fundamental physiological issues that make us human beings, but what sets us apart, is what we do with the people that are like us. For example, although all people need to eat, culture helps you understand what someone is most likely to eat based on their location, heritage and ancestry.
Most of all, by understanding anothers culture, you can bond with them over the simple things that make us all similar on this lonely planet. If only all people could understand that although we may be different, we can all live together in harmony, for that is how things are meant to be.
